General Documents Required

  • District, Tehsil, Village name, and Survey / Khasra / Khatauni / Gata number
  • Owner name / Khata number as recorded in existing revenue documents
  • Identity Proof (Aadhaar or Voter ID) if applying for digitally signed official certified copies
  • Registered Sale Deed or inheritance certificate (if seeking mutation / name update in the RoR)

Visit respective state land record portal (e.g., UP Bhulekh, MP Bhulekh, Karnataka Bhoomi, Bihar Bhumi, etc.).

Select district, sub-district/tehsil, and village from the administrative hierarchy dropdown.

Search land parcel by Khasra number, Khata number, or plot owner's name.

View RoR (Record of Rights / Khatauni / 7/12 extract) displaying owner names, plot area, soil classification, and mortgage status.

Download digitally signed, tamper-proof extract or apply for mutation upon land transfer.
