Sarkari Data is a read-only information website. We keep things simple: no accounts, no tracking and no personal data collection. This page explains the little information that is involved when you use the site.
1. No accounts or personal identity data
You can use the whole website without signing up or logging in. We never ask for Aadhaar numbers, PAN details, bank credentials, phone numbers or addresses.
2. No tracking cookies or analytics
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.
3. Theme preference stored on your device
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
4. Search stays in your browser
Search results are worked out inside your browser; we do not keep a record of what you search for. If you open the full search results page, your search words appear in the page address, which may show up in the hosting logs described below.
5. Hosting logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
6. Links to other websites
We link to government portals and other official websites, such as banks and public utilities. When you open those links you leave Sarkari Data, and their own privacy policies apply.
7. When you email us
If you write to hello@sarkaridata.online, we use your email address only to reply to your message. We do not add you to mailing lists or share it with anyone.
