General Eligibility Criteria
Any death taking place within Indian territorial boundaries is mandatory to be reported and registered by the prescribed informant (family or institution) within 21 days.
General Documents Required

- Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (MCCD) issued by attending physician or registered medical practitioner
- Cremation / burial receipt from registered crematorium or cemetery

- Magisterial permission / police NOC in cases of unnatural death, post-mortem, or delayed reporting (>30 days)
General Application Workflow
