Enormous seasonal salt marsh located in the Thar biogeographic zone in the Kutch district of Gujarat. One of the largest salt deserts in the world, flooding with tidal seawater during the southwest monsoon and evaporating into a blinding white expanse of pure salt crust during the dry season.
