A chain of 572 islands, islets, and rocks at the southeastern edge of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Submerged peaks of a continuous undersea mountain range connecting the Rakhine Yoma of Myanmar to the Indonesian Sunda Arc. Separated by the 150-km wide Ten Degree Channel.
